Facilities
Sample assaying and weighing takes place within a specially modified 20’L x 8’W x 8½’H container. This unit allows for the processing of approximately 40 pulp samples per hour or 800 per day. The facility is designed to operate conveniently with in conjunction with sample preparation and fire assay laboratories.
Operations
• BC Assayer certified assayer oversee client training
• prepared samples are delivered on carts with trays for easy loading
• samples are fused and cupelled
• dore beads are delivered to wet lab
• gold and silver are quantified gravimetrically and by AAS
• pulps are digested for the base metals of concern using aqua regia (partial extract) or multi-acid (total)
• base metals are quantified by AA – Cu, Pb, Zn, Mo, etc.
